HYPERION SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR – End user client, small team, growing company

This client a growing end user organisation is currently seeking a Hyperion Systems Administrator who will report directly to the Financial Systems Manager.
This is a brand new position and you will be responsible for the design and project delivery of Hyperion Planning/ESSBASE solutions. The role works closely with Finance and the Financial Systems team to deliver on those designs.
You will be considered the subject matter expert for all Hyperion BI and EPM. The role will drive continuous improvement and develop modifications to meet changing business conditions.
Key Responsibilities of this role include;
- Determine business needs and drivers through consultation and collaboration
- Analysis of business systems to understand the process (and financial) impact.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple divisions
- Proactively seek ways to improve functionality via a continuous improvement focus
- Monitor software product developments/trends to ensure productivity and competitive edge
- Administer projects that deliver Hyperion enhancements which use an appropriate Systems Development Life Cycle
- Perform all tasks in the implementation cycle, including business process definition, configuration and unit testing, support of user acceptance testing and post-live support
- Develop and enhance the application processes that will result in a stable productive environment
Writing Web Forms, Reports and Security settings
To be considered for this key role your skills will include;
- Highly proficient in Hyperion Planning version 9 or higher (version 11 a plus)
- Familiarity with SmartView and Essbase Add-In tools for planning and reporting
- Skilled in multidimensional data analysis
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Hyperion Systems Administrator.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM) / Master Data Management (MDM) functionality and capability
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Financial Services background is preferred
- Strong ability to converse with both end users and IT employees at all levels of the organisation
