EC Integrators Launches Analytix Mapping Manager to Australian Market
EC Integrators, a leading innovator in data warehousing and business intelligence, today became Australia’s first reseller to successfully deliver the new Analytix Data Services’ Mapping Manager software to Australian-owned and operated companies.
Analytix Mapping Manager is the first metadata-based and ETL tool-agnostic Source-to-Target mapping product available on the market today. It is the first-ever system integration industry product to bring data governance best practices, standardisation, versioning, traceability, impact analysis and data lineage to data mapping and data management. Analytix Mapping Manager accelerates delivery whilst improving quality by overcoming the traditional pitfalls and high cost of manual data mapping processes. This product has been adopted by multinational companies such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Barquin International, Lockheed Martin, HP and others.
“This is a niche and cutting-edge pre-ETL product that complements major ETL tools such as Informatica’s Power Center and IBM InfoSphere DataStage,” said Emy Carr, the Managing Director of EC Integrators. “Together with the expected tremendous sales of this product, we look ahead to accelerate project delivery and improve overall data quality even more.”
The Analytix toolset is a scalable tool which enables users to quickly build, version and manage data mapping specifications between multiple source data environments and target systems such as enterprise data warehouse and data mart environments. This flexible toolset can be accessed by anyone with a web browser.
Analytix Mapping Manager and EC Integrators together provide Business Analysts and Project Managers a solution that gives faster and better quality data mapping with all the flexibility of traditional methods.

CITI Recruitment creates embedded job ad product – featured in Shortlist.net.au
Posted by: | CommentsCITI Recruitment recently featured in Shortlist.net.au Newsletter:
Sydney IT recruitment specialist CITI Recruitment has had strong interest in a new tool that allows recruiters to embed searchable jobs on their websites, says director Steve Wilson.
Wilson said CITI Recruitment developed the basic tool for its own use, but had now on-sold it to five other recruitment companies in non-IT sectors.
The product automatically uploades the text of new job ads written by an agency’s consultants onto a page on the company’s website, so that the ads were directly searchable via Google.
This meant candidates searching Google for highly specialised IT roles were likely to see CITI jobs included in the first few results that came up, Wilson said.
Having their ads searchable on Google gave recruiters a huge advantage, he said, because unlike SEEK where ads were taken down after 30 days, the text on the web page remained there indefinitely.
“What happens if I’ve written a really good advert, and somebody finds it 60 days later and applies, and they’re perfect for a new job? That’s a free candidate.”
He said many agencies used the “I-frame” provided by SEEK to feature their SEEK listings on their own website, but the contents of the I-frame box were invisible to Google’s search engine.
ATS companies and multi-posting firms offered I-frames, he said, and in some instances created packages that gave big agencies a search engine-optimised job feed that would bring ads up in Google results.
“But clients pay a lot of money for that service, and it’s out of reach of a lot of recruitment agencies.”
Wilson noted that CITI’s tool would only work well for companies advertising jobs in specific niche markets. Google searches for “accounting” or “legal” jobs were unlikely to bring up results from small recruitment companies because the volume of related links was so large, he said.
Recruitment Networking – NPA Worldwide
Posted by: | CommentsThe CITI Recruitment Team went to the Sydney NPA Worldwide Meeting in March – with a networking event afterwards.
It was great to hear the employment industry has picked up with lots of smiling faces all around the room – all industry sectors reported improvements in the job market with many agencies now looking to grow in numbers themselves.
