This client a growing end user organisation is currently seeking a Hyperion Essbase Developer who will be responsible for maintaining, developing and tuning the Hyperion systems (which include the Essbase and Enterprise environments) resulting in a stable, optimised financial planning, budgeting, and reporting solution.
The technical responsibilities of this role will include a development component (OBIEE, Essbase, Planning and relational OLAP databases) and an infrastructure administration component:
To be considered for this high profile role your skills will include;
- Experience with Calculation scripts and Business Rules (write/ maintain/enhance), Planning Web Forms and Workflow, Load Rules, Report Scripts, Application Manager, Tuning and optimisation, Configuration settings, Esscmd, MaxL and MDX scripting, Batch scripting, Automation, System monitoring, and Security.
- Experience importing data from multiple systems (SQL based, Flat files).
- Working knowledge of Hyperion reporting tools such as Essbase Add-In and Retrieve.
- Experience using Essbase Aggregate Storage Option.
- Basic SQL knowledge (SQL 2000, 2005, 2008).
- Performance tuning skills on Essbase databases.
- Technical skills in relation to data acquisition, analysis and integration.
- Database development is essential Minimum of five years of experience as an Essbase / Planning Developer.
- Candidates must have demonstrable knowledge of Essbase functionality and capability

This is an ambitious, global ERP implementation that will require the best talent to work in partnership with the system integrator to secure its success and as such they are seeking a highly experienced ERP (Oracle) Project manager to oversee the full project life cycle.
Key responsibilities of this role will include;
- Ensuring that the ERP solution is configured and built to meet the needs of the client
- Managing the Functional, Technical, Change Management and Reporting Streams, overseeing the communication and coordination across all the project streams.
- Managing the system integrator and contractors within each stream to ensure consistency in approach and methodology.
- Supporting the business process definition and design process and ensure full involvement of business resources throughout the project.

As their “CAD & Client Technology Architect” you will provide technical leadership and assistance across the IS Group and the business. You will review and co-ordinate Project Solution Architectures and perform R&D as directed by the IS Strategy & Architecture Manager. You will also ensure their Client technology, CAD architectures and roadmap are documented and up to date.
