We are looking for talented individuals with a high competency in pure mathematics, some exposure to front, middle and back office trading procedures and a solid knowledge of complex or exotic options

This position is not necessarily suited to a model developer for this assignment requires you to determine the most appropriate model from the client’s extensive selection of available porfolio. You’ll be more of a generalist than someone bent on developing new financial products or pricing models, and harness an interest in a broader exposure rather than a commodity specialist

The Role

Whilst reporting to the Integration Manager you’ll be part of a team of Integration Engineers, Financial Engineers, Business Analysts and Project Managers. You’ll perform activities such as software installation and configuration, writing custom scripts/code, data interfacing and consulting with clients. This a complex challenge that requires clear distillation, professional design, and timely implementation

Main Duties

• Financial validation and modelling of clients’ portfolios across the whole spectrum of Financial Instruments
• Provide advice on the implementation of Risk Management Software to assess Market and Credit risk

Essential Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in an analytic subject with Maths to at least “A” Level or equivalent

• Investment Banking
• Financial Software Company
• Integration Partner
• Financial Consulting Firm

Special Skills

• Formulating with pricing and modelling of Financial Products
• Must at least know concepts behind “Hulls” book
• Strong problem solving skills
• Risk Management experience
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Practical as well as analytical
• Good command in English, both verbal and written
