The Change Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives from a cultural and staffing perspective – by increasing employee adoption and usage.
 
This role focuses on the people side of digital projects – including changes to business processes, systems, job roles and organisational structures. The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximise employee adoption and minimise resistance.

Key Responsibilities
• Ultimately to work closely for/with the Head of PMO to ensure at the high level, that the agreed roadmap of projects from the architects and sponsors progresses with minimal deviation through project lifecycles to delivery into the business’ operational landscape
• Interpretation of endorsed project blueprint and business case to determine the key magnitude of people change envisaged
• 1on1s with project sponsor, delegate business area SME, business planning partner (business architect), P, L & C organisational development and learning & development – to discuss change assessment for project
• Workshops with affected employees of forthcoming change to refine change management needs
• Partnership with project manager and project architect to further refine the change assessment for project
• Documentation of change management assessment for later inclusion in the change management strategy

Essential Requirements
• Extensive experience working on IT projects in one of the following roles: change management specialist/change manager/business analyst/project manager/professional services consultant OR Extensive experience working in an organisational development role in HR
• Must  have played a leading role within multiple large scale organisational change efforts
• Familiarity with both traditional and agile project management methodologies
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Working knowledge of the theories underpinning the change management discipline – Kotter’s and Mento’s models, Losada ratio, ADKAR, McKinsey, etc
• Degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Management
• or Computer Science/Software Engineering/Science
If the latter must have either Prosci certification or big four style consultancy background

Desirable Requirements
• Experience in the non-profit sector
• Experience working specifically on web/digital projects
• Experience working within a geographically dispersed organisation with the typical    head office and regional cultural differences – LEAN Change Management
 – Prosci certification
 – MBA with a focus on people/change management
