eSports is currently on the trajectory to a total worth of more than $138USD billion with a rapidly growing global audience of more than 380 million users.
This role will see you join as a Go Developer (Golang). This exciting role will see you working with the meteoric rise of eSports and the opportunity for developers to monetise and participate in the gaming community, the intersection will assuredly facilitate a new gaming landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on the back end skills and ability to identify and improve scaling issues for a custom Go code, prefer 2+ years of experience.
- Experience in building cloud-based platforms and/or applications
- Strong Software development background using server side technologies
- Build cloud applications, Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) using AWS.
- Experience in building REST APIs.
- Experience working in a continuous delivery environment.
- Stay current on emerging technologies
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years in Go (Golang) + 3-4 years in another strong type systems language – Javascript / C etc
- Highly skilled in Go, microservices architectures, CI/CD environments
- Experience in middleware patterns such as Rest and WebAPI
- Well versed in data storage technologies such as NoSQL (Couchbase, MongoDB, etc.)
- Understanding of unit testing concepts and frameworks preferred
- Familiar with an Agile environment and common tools i.e. Jira and Git
