Systems Test Engineer / Analyst – Contract

The project involves the testing of a front-end web based system used by a large Telco Client based in Sydney. As this is an urgent requirment we require someone who can start in 0-2 weeks and is based in Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Writing Master Test plan, Test planning, Test resources Allocation.
- Setting up test environment and test data for testing.
- Mentoring and helping junior testers with their issues in testing.
- Conducting high level system testing on Oracle based system
- System testing of J2EE based web front end.
- Migration from .Net based Legacy system to a J2EE based rebuild platform.
- Performing Load Testing on Tomcat Web Server to test the stability of the System.
- Designing and Writing Test Plan, Test Specs and Test reports.
- Responsible for the defect life cycle, that includes fault generation, assigning it to a developer and having detailed level design discussion with developers to fix the faults.
- Conduct daily test progress meetings with all the stakeholders.
