Linux/Windows Systems Administrator

Required Skills:
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
to NVL1 level (i.e. must be an Australian citizen with at least 10 years residency) - NV1 / NV2 Clearance preferred
- System administrator with at least 5 years’ experience with Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and/or Debian
- Strong knowledge on installation, configuration, and management of MySQL databases
- A strong desire to learn new things and continually improve yourself and your team with a can-do anything mentality
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, monitoring, documentation, administration and architecture of critical Linux based systems in VMWare and on physical servers
- Strong knowledge of system security and overall IT security methodologies
- BASH shell and Perl scripting (PHP, Unlang and other languages a plus)
- Experience troubleshooting VPNs, PPTP, OpenVPN
- Managing/configuring Samba
- Experience managing/configuring DNS (BIND and Windows) and DHCP
- Windows experience with Active Directory a plus
