This company has customers in 100 countries, with proven solutions that help manage business-critical interactions through the exchange of date flowing across the enterprise, B2B communities, the cloud and mobile devices.

The Principal Pre-sales Solution Architect will be based in Sydney. The role offers flexible works hours and location. The Client / Customer reach is Australia wide, and interstate travel is also offered to attend presentations and conferences.

Role:

  • As part of the technical pre-sales team, this role will support all elements of pre-sales process
  • Elicit and analyse customer requirements and provide a solution
  • Head presentations to prospects and clients

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • You should be an energetic sales person with a strong technical edge first and foremost. 
  • You should enjoy attending conferences, Meetup.com groups and presenting to C-Level and Senior Technical people. 
  • You should live and breath the EAI, SOA and API domains!
  • 5-10 years experience providing expertise in business and technical solutions for enterprise software or hosted high-tech in the software integration space

Experience with solutions deployment and/or pre-sales in two or more of the following disciplines:

  • B2B Gateway implementations
  • Managed File Transfer solutions
  • API Strategy’s using products like Vordel, Oracle API Gateway, Apigee, Layer 7 
  • EAI, ESB, SOA
  • Identity Scenarios like SSO for web applications, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect
  • Security Technology: XML and JSON Thread detection, OWASP Top10 Threads

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of presentations of enterprise solutions 
  • Lead workshops
  • Architect solutions that address technical and business needs
  • Build reports documenting current and future state recommendations
  • Develop POC plans with agreed use cases and execute POCs in virtual teams
  • Prepare technical content for RFP responses
  • Work closely with Solution Architects to define the complete customer solution
