Service Desk Team Lead is responsible for measuring performance, continual improvement processes, optimal customer support, strategic oversight, cross-IT group escalation ticket follow up and overall Service Desk performance.
  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
  
• Provide leadership and supervision to the current support /service Desk team 
• Review Service Desk associated metrics and implement improvements that increase customer satisfaction.
• Assess, define and continually improve Service Desk team processes and procedures.
• Formulate ITIL/ Service management processes
• Coordinate user working groups and training sessions that increase customer knowledge and facilitate a greater degree of customer interaction.
• Provide management reports and dashboards.
• Develop an understanding of company operations and establish a solid working relationship with business partners throughout the organization.
• Maintain compliance by monitoring key controls and ensuring existing procedures are completed as designed and on schedule.
• Effectively communicate with management and executive C-level customers.
  
Job Qualifications
  
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proven IT experience required.
• Must have 3 years of helpdesk/service desk team leadership /management experience.
• Experience managing various ticket systems
• Must have working knowledge and understanding of ITIL service management processes.
• ITIL certifications preferred.
