The Role

As a growing software and services company in the API space, with APAC head office in Sydney, we are searching for enterprising and seasoned professionals to help us expand our territorial sales operations. The successful candidate will be part of our Enterprise Technology Sales Specialist team and be responsible for prospecting and selling the technical solutions required by our customers. Technical solutions include B2B Gateway Solutions, Managed File Transfer Solutions and API’s.

Responsibilities will also include managing accounts and providing solutions to enterprise-wide clients. The candidate will be accountable for delivering new sales and revenue to meet and/or exceed annual targets. The technology sales specialist will require knowledge and understanding of consultative selling principles. The successful candidate will be responsible for an assigned territory; travel in NSW will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive annual sales and revenue targets for a defined territory
  • Identify, manage and grow real-time technology sales opportunities from start to finish
  • Build and execute on sales strategies at both account and country level, collaborating with other internal sales and account management groups as required
  • Diligently track and manage all customer interactions using salesforce.com
  • Effectively build a sales pipeline and accurately manage forecasts throughout the sales cycle
  • Validate the client workflow and engage the technical resources where necessary
  • Frequent client and prospect interaction through sales calls and onsite visits
  • Identify, build and maintain key client relationships, including senior client relationships at CxO level
  • Maintain strong product knowledge of the full Technical Solutions suite, its integration points with other products and competitor/3rd party offerings

Requirements

  • Experience in enterprise technical solutions selling in NSW
  • Proven consultative sales skills
  • Proven ability of accurate pipeline management from initial lead to close
  • Proven ability to initiate, build and maintain key relationships within strategic accounts
  • Ability to work within a collaborative environment to achieve results
  • Entrepreneurial and outgoing character
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of integration/middleware/API platforms is a must
