Application Support Programmer

This client a key player in the Sydney Market is currently seeking an Application Support contractor to assist with the generation of solutions to business problems and opportunities

This is a 4 month contract to commence asap and interviews will be held next week.

Key aspects of the role will involve;

• Perform analysis based on requirements or ad-hoc Helpdesk requests
• Provide estimates for requested tasks
• Writing SQL queries to generate reports as required
• Make Code Changes as required
• Assist users with preparation of test cases for User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing

To be considered for this role your skills will include;

• Solid understanding of RDBMS Concepts
• Competent in SQL programming in either SQL Server or Oracle – Queries, Functions, Stored procedures
• Basic Competence in Java programming
• Exposure to JavaScript Programming
• Knowledge of VBA or Visual Basic
