Java Developer – Contract

This client, a leading Consulting firm in Sydney is seeking the expertise of a mid-level Java developer/consultant to join a new online project.

Knowledge of BPM and Workflow would be a strong advantage!!!

The role:

As a consultant you’ll be on-site liaising with the client, running through specifications and delivering the solution. Development wise you’ll need to be comfortable with front and back-end development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Enterprise Java development using Hibernate, Spring and Struts
• Strong in HTML and Javascript frameworks (Extjs, jQuery)
• Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL Server)
• Experience in all phases of systems development, especially the design and delivery of web applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with formal project/software delivery methodologies
• A Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science (or similar)

The contract is initially 6 months with the likelihood to extend – role is exclusive with CITI Recruitment and our client are interviewing immediately.
